The $EAT Card

The $EAT Card is a debit card (not credit) that turns everyday spending into meals and powers a community rewards program. It is designed so anyone can take part with no crypto knowledge required.

The debit card that feeds families, pays you to share on social, and builds real value.

The $EAT Card is Visa-powered, built with Crowded, a fintech platform that serves nonprofits and runs the rails underneath: payment processing, fraud protection, and card management. Investing.com broke the story on May 18, 2026.

WYDE calls the model “contributory consumption”: routine spending becomes a continuous funding stream for meals, instead of leaning on one-off donation drives.

Spend a dollar, feed someone.

  • Your spending funds meals. A share of every transaction is automatically directed to hunger-relief charities, with nothing extra for you to do.
  • Your spending funds cause marketing. About 2% interchange from each transaction funds marketing for the hunger cause (not buying any token): growing awareness and bringing in new supporters. This is what powers the community bounty pool below.
  • No crypto required. Spend like a normal debit card; the mission infrastructure handles the on-chain side.

As part of cause marketing for hunger, the organization’s revenue from debit card spending (about 2% interchange) funds a community bounty pool. Community members may receive rewards with real cash value (with the option to be denominated in $EAT), based on their approved contributions, and subject to program availability and terms.

The bounty pool powers clipping campaigns: community members create and share clips that promote the cause (ending hunger) on social media and bring in new members. Clipping campaigns are gated to community members.
