How To Buy $EAT

This is a general walkthrough for buying $EAT on Base. Always confirm the official links and contract address from wyde.org first.

Step by step

  1. Set up a wallet. Install a Base-compatible wallet such as Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask. Write down your seed phrase and store it offline. Never type it into a website.

  2. Add the Base network. Coinbase Wallet supports Base by default. In MetaMask, add the Base network if it is not already there.

  3. Fund your wallet. Get some ETH on Base to pay for the swap and network fees. You can buy ETH on an exchange and withdraw it to your wallet on the Base network, or bridge it to Base.

  4. Confirm the official $EAT contract address. Get it directly from wyde.org or eat.ong. Copy it exactly. This is the single most important safety step.

  5. Swap on WYDE. Go to the official WYDE exchange, connect your wallet, paste the verified $EAT contract address, enter the amount, and confirm the swap.

  6. Verify you received $EAT. Check your wallet balance and confirm the token matches the official contract address.
